Description: Do you want to make a parent cry when they get a report on their child, and cry in a good way? Want to honour a child and their family? Want to capture learning and make it visible? Want to be a reflective teacher? A pedagogical narration is something I wrote on each child in my classroom this year as a formal report. It is a story that allows one to see inside a child’s imagination and thinking. It allows teachers to link the demonstrated knowledge of the child to the curriculum and core competencies. It's a wonderful way to honour the child.
