- The Healthy Habits Challenge is a 30 day initiative where students can track 6 healthy habits on an online platform. Data is sent weekly to teachers. The Healthy Habits notes are: healthy eating, physical activity, screen time, water intake, sleep time, and mental health (journaling). Challenges are run three times per year and classes or whole schools can sign up. The entire challenge is turnkey and all resources are FREE. The challenges are supported by our team, our resources, and prizes can include athlete visits, gym banners for most active schools, and much more. The goal of the challenges are to instil healthy habits at the elementary school age and allow the students to learn about accountability and goal setting while providing data on progress.

It includes lessons that explore living and non-living things; the differences between a need and want; and the biomes within Canada. There are lessons for outside, in the class, and computer labs with the intention of inquiry and student driven learning. - This lesson plan looks to establish not only the relation between author and narrator in a text, but seeks to explain the context behind choices of high and low language, and how we use them in day to day life. As an introduction to language registers, this lesson will cover the basics of familiar language, standard language, and affected language, and highlights possibilities for adaptations in the ELL sphere. Though it remains specific to a single novel study, it can be amended to fit a variety of mediums.

- Do you want to make a parent cry when they get a report on their child, and cry in a good way? Want to honour a child and their family? Want to capture learning and make it visible? Want to be a reflective teacher? A pedagogical narration is something I wrote on each child in my classroom this year as a formal report. It is a story that allows one to see inside a child’s imagination and thinking. It allows teachers to link the demonstrated knowledge of the child to the curriculum and core competencies. It's a wonderful way to honour the child.
