Includes lessons on pathogens, preventing food poisoning, food safety and canning (salsa), optional digital storytelling activity related to pathogens, and concluding activity that uses food safety principles and previously prepared salsa in preparation of chicken fajitas. Recipes for salsa and chicken fajitas included.
