This activity sets an exciting tone of exploration and discovery, encouraging an inquiry mindset in students that helps establish a community of curious, active learners. Students gain tools to explore the natural world—and are inspired to discover and attempt to explain the abundant nature mysteries that surround us. NSI works well at the start of a field experience, to get students excited about nature mysteries.

Cette leçon correspond à la première étape de l'unité abordant l'énergie potentielle et cinétique. Nous aborderons ces sujets à travers le cas de l'hydro-électricité. Cette leçon consiste à introduire les élèves aux concepts d'énergie potentielle et cinétique et de présenter le concept de barrage. Pour ce faire, nous ferons une sortie à la plage où les élèves pourront se mettre les mains à la pâte afin de comprendre les applications de l'énergie potentielle et cinétique. Le milieu permettra aux élèves de rencontrer avec tous leurs sens les sujets que nous allons aborder.

Description
The Healthy Habits Challenge is a 30 day initiative where students can track 6 healthy habits on an online platform. Data is sent weekly to teachers. The Healthy Habits notes are: healthy eating, physical activity, screen time, water intake, sleep time, and mental health (journaling). Challenges are run three times per year and classes or whole schools can sign up. The entire challenge is turnkey and all resources are FREE. The challenges are supported by our team, our resources, and prizes can include athlete visits, gym banners for most active schools, and much more. The goal of the challenges are to instil healthy habits at the elementary school age and allow the students to learn about accountability and goal setting while providing data on progress.
