These worksheets are designed for grades 9 or 10 students who are studying meal planning and budget foods. The meal planning worksheet takes students through the meal planning section in the "Food for Life" textbook. The second worksheet gives the ingredient list for "Spanish Rice" and asks students to cost out the recipe. The prices of some staples are provided, but teachers may also like to use weekly grocery store flyers as a resource.
