- At this point in the course, students are already familiar, with the verb “Ser”, as well as greetings, numbers, and the verbs gustar/encantar. The lesson will focus on the main differences between the verbs Ser vs Estar which are a couple of the most used verbs in the Spanish language. Another reason as to why I am focusing on these verbs is the fact that this pair of verbs can be particularly tricky for those who speak English as their first language, because they are both encompassed by the verb “to be”.

- Activity involves students designing and creating a handbook that outlines various aspects of child development (physical, cognitive, and social) and explores ways to encourage development in those areas. Activity will take place over several weeks, during which students will participate in class instruction, group activities and presentations, and individual research, all of which will culminate in their "Child Development Handbook".
