Description: This website contains unit plans designed for teachers, by teachers. The units explore the themes of global education across the grades and across the curriculum. The units contain all of the necessary handouts and materials to be easily utilized in the classroom setting and are consistent with the outcomes of the BC Curriculum. The creation of this site and the units were made possible through a joint CIDA and BCTF project.

Description: The INFORM resource is broken into 4 parts that can be used as individually or as part of a cohesive unit. Part 1 & 2 define misinformation and disinformation, provide case studies and discussion questions to deepen understanding. Students are encouraged to connect this information with current events social and political events. Part 3 & 4 are specific to the COVID-19 crisis and provide definitions and clarifications of the language governments use to advise our community safety. There is also a complete list of Provincial, National, and International resources that educators, students and the broader community can use for reliable COVID related information.
