- This lesson will explore the difference between a person’s biological sex and their gender identity, and that gender roles and expectations are socially constructed, influenced by media and evolve or change over time. It highlights that everyone defines their own gender identity, and that this identity needs to be respected.

- Description
- This lesson plan / activity would be a great jumping off point for starting Entrepreneurship or Personal Selling. The lesson starts off with review of what is entrepreneurship and then goes into the art of the handshake with discussion, video, and examples. Students get the opportunity to practice giving handshakes and from there The Pitch is introduced. The lesson closes with the students doing their very own introductions and elevator pitches in front of the class.

The 90-minute module includes a video, facilitation guide and PowerPoint and provides an opportunity to delve deeper into conversations on inclusive education and the ways in which educators can best impact their students. The module was created by ARC Foundation, with guidance from education partners, educators and parents in the community.
