- Description
- This activity is designed to have students consider what it would be like for various people to live during the Great Depression. Three cases are presented, representing low to high income individuals and their families. Students can investigate 1-3 case studies and compare/contrast between them. The discussion questions can be modified to fit the number of cases the student will be analyzing. This can also be done in pairs or triads, with each student creating a budget for one case. Students can complete this activity and submit it online. Or print the answers out and send/scan/photograph them and submitting them digitally or in print. I use a single point rubric, but any other assessment can be easily inserted in.
