Description
Reducing greenhouse gas emissions and avoiding an increase of 2 degrees Celsius by 2100 is our goal. By continuing to increase fossil fuel consumption and not advancing renewable energy our civilization would be a risk. Tipping points and cascading events become more likely.

This lesson likens titles and headings and titles to roadsigns (they tell you where you are going and what is next) and has an accompanying worksheet for students to complete to show their understanding of how a text is organized under headings, and how to use them to make predictions or find specific information.
